I have always had a love for animals and science, I grew up in northern Ontario where we had little access to Veterinary care and after doing some research I found that becoming an RVT was the perfect mix of both of my passions.  I moved to Alberta in 2007 and finished the Veterinary Technologist program at Olds College in 2011, I completed my practicum with Dog & Cat Hospital and have been a part of the team since.  I have a special interest in emergency/critical care and anesthesia, I love being able to help pets in need and mentor staff.

I currently live my dog Poppy and two parrots, Luigi and Frankie. Fun fact, I thought my parrot Luigi was a boy for the longest time and after completing DNA sexing I found out that HE was a SHE!
